blade sight WIP 2023/12/01 update notes


i'm back from a bit of holiday from last week. there was not enough done in the short time that i had to dev to put together anything new for a build, so i hope this week makes up for it!

New Features:

A lot of attack card art has been updated for clarity and to remove more of the duplicates. (this does not extend to the Feral weapon, that weapon is still -broken-ish-)

Targeting System! Targeting now works by pressing and holding the Emote/Taunt button to freeze time and allow for target selection for all the enemies in range. This is fairly new so there is a lot of churn to do on this.

Kiku added as a girlfriend. She finally has a little bit of work done on her moveset and can now be asked out to go fighting.

Supers rebalanced. Suu's Hiyoko Slam, Gashadokuro Flurry Punch, Blood Samurai Giga Blade, (new) Matsu  Hailstorm, (new) Kiku Fireshield use a different timing for activation. There is no more personal time stop for these attacks, so they may be a little harder to link in to. However, when using a girlfriends super action, the 'freed' time now allows for tandem actions while the girlfriend performs the action. Relatedly 236H236H inputs can parse as an input to do 236H>236236H, allowing the first 236 to count for both attacks.

More of the base movement skills have been added to the skill list. Additionally hint bells have been added that can 'reveal' those actions

The 'pure heart bonfire' event has changed. if you know you know

Spellcards! A big addition, though not super present currently in this build, combat waves can have special survival patterns. The only one currently is in the Kiku encounter.

Characters can no longer burst while guard broken

some bugs related to girlfriend control have been fixed, though the feature is still a little messy. However the debug key to change control to a girlfriend has been added.
