walking update
uh, there's a lot of odds and ends on this build, it may be less stable than previous builds because of it.
the input parser has undergone some large changes, mostly regarding motions. Motion inputs currently are set to be more strict about the sequencing in to their moves. interruptions from motion sequence (236, aka down, downforward, forward) to it's button now results in the motion being dropped. for example; 236H will get the attack, but 2362H will result in 2H instead. 789 (upwards directions) do not count for breaking, however, so 2369H will cause a jump to activate on the 9, and then the 236_H to activate the move.
up-to-jump interactions have been getting cleaned up. super jump is now a motion from down->jump, so up to jump is able to access it. some states that had jump exits have had those removed (such as rifle stance)
some inputs (236236, double quarter circle) now has some leniency on it, where one of the parts of the input can be incorrect, and it will still accept the input. this still may need some adjustment.
ai has adjusted their movement access by using a simulated stick input, allowing them to have more nuanced movement in some situations.
girlfriends have been changed to linger longer after using an attack, will mimic their partner's stick direction, and will try to mimic movement options such as jump/dash. they can no longer block attacks while active. girlfriend attacks for the player no longer check for the player's air/ground state, and instead uses the linked move based on the girlfriend.
There are some order parsing issues that cause some problems with 1 frame transition periods between some of the girlfriend states where they can queue in a grounded attack as they snap to the player or become inactive that can cause them to use grounded moves in the air or munch the input. the girlfriend system in general still has a lot of churn needed for it
entering a room currently causes the player to dash in a direction that is being held for most types of room links.
minion pathing is currently broken and enemies will not path back to their spawn locations
enemy ai will aggressively try to use girlfriends while active
girlfriends will try to move next to their partner when they are knocked out
suu's teleport is currently removed, she can cancel level 0 and level 1 moves into a dash with [D] during the red cancel window instead
there are probably other changes i'm not thinking of as well, it's been a little scattered with the changes to default states and movement on ai controlled characters.
